Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information SKRND collects when you visit skrnd.ae or order from us, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. SKRND is a streetwear brand based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Questions about your data: info@skrnd.ae or WhatsApp +971 54 702 0483.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, phone number, email address, emirate or city and country, what you ordered, and any gift message or note you add.
  • When you design a custom item: the text you type (names, words, lyrics, a song, a place or a date) and any photo you upload. We use these only to make your item.
  • When you start checkout but don’t finish: the email or phone number and the cart you entered, so we can send you one reminder (see “Emails” below).
  • When you contact us: what you write in the contact form, by email, on WhatsApp or in the chat, with your name and contact details.
  • When you browse: pages and products you view, items added to the cart, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and which site or ad brought you to us. This comes from cookies (see below).

We never see or store your card number. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are handled by our payment provider, Ziina.

Why we use it

  • To make, deliver and support your order, including sending order and delivery updates.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To understand how the site is used and to measure our ads, so we can improve both.
  • To keep the site safe from spam and misuse.
  • To keep the records the law requires for our accounts.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share only what each service needs:

  • Delivery companies: your name, phone number, delivery location and order details, so they can deliver.
  • Ziina: to take card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments.
  • Google (Analytics): anonymous statistics about visits and pages.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): pages viewed, items added to the cart, checkouts and purchases, so we can measure our ads. For purchases we send your email, phone, name, city and country in encrypted (hashed) form, so they can be matched to an ad without being readable.
  • Tidio: the chat service, only if you open the chat.
  • Our hosting, email and backup providers, which store the site and its data for us.

Emails

We send emails about your order (confirmation, delivery). If you start checkout and don’t finish, we may send one reminder email about an hour later, sometimes with a discount code. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a site. We use them to:

  • Run the shop: keep your cart and checkout working, and remember the currency you chose.
  • Know where visits come from: which site or ad brought you, saved with your order.
  • Count visits: Google Analytics, and our own anonymous visit statistics (no personal details).
  • Measure ads: the Meta pixel.
  • Chat: Tidio, only after you open the chat.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The shop may not work properly without the first group.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: as long as we need them for our accounts and as the law requires.
  • Photos you upload for a custom design: deleted 90 days after your order is completed or cancelled. Photos that never become part of an order are deleted after 3 days.
  • Messages: as long as needed to help you.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (except records we must keep by law). You can unsubscribe from reminder emails at any time. Write to info@skrnd.ae.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and payments are processed by Ziina. Only people who need your information to handle your order can see it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
